In this presentation, we will start off by making a characterization of GlaxoSmithKline. Afterwards we will present our analysis of the annual accounts. Subsequently we have made an analysis of the CSR policy. Afterwards we would like to present and discuss the UN’s Global Compact. In the end we would like to go through GlaxoSmithKline’s current and future position on the market.

4. Characterization of GSK Glaxosmithkline (GSK) is a british lægemiddelsbaseret company based in Brentford England. The company was established in 2000 by a merge of two companies “Glaxo Wellcome” and “SmithKline Beecham”. GSK employs 100.000 people worldwide. GSK provide state-of-the-act facilities in many locations worldwide, including fill-finish capabilities. At August 2016 GSK had a market capital of 81 billion, which makes GSK the fourth largest company on the Stock Exchange.
