In the article “Why Chinese Mothers are superior”, by the author Amy Chau, she argues that the Chinese parenting style can raise their children to become more successful than the western way of parenting. Her children are not allowed to get anything less than an A, and not play the violin or piano, and she means it is the parent's job that they get a good education. The author shows the contrast between the western way and the Chinese way. The western way is not as strict even though they think they are, the western is more focused on the children's self-esteem and psychics. The Chinese way is a lot stricter and they don’t worry about that. A Chinese parent would do everything for their children, and they think of themselves knowing what the child wants to do and lead them to pursue that.

Others strive for their children to get good grades so they can have a nice job and success. Because of the variation between the different ways of parenting, some parents are stricter than others. China is one of the country’s there are known for having very successful children. Thy are ahead of everyone else and have a very strict way of parenting.
