Hope everything is going well at home? I can’t believe it is a whole month since I last saw you. I am having a fantastic time with [NAVN C] and [NAVN A] and their family.

It is really strange Down Under. I am sitting here with my I-pad looking at photos and videos that I have taken. Many of them were pictures I took with [NAVN C] and [NAVN A] at Uluru, the biggest rock in the world. It was astonishing how big it was in person, you feel so small looking at it.

One of the things I found interesting about Australia, was how welcome and friendly Australians were to tourist and visitors. They always like to have a conversation with you, and they also like to recommend attractions and restaurants they think you should visit.

Many of the days were spent in nature, mostly in a rainforest a few miles away from there home. It was far away, but worth it each time.

Every single time we were there, I discovered something new about Australian animals. There were a lot of wild animals like snakes, birds and spiders.

I was very scared of spiders but [NAVN A] had an incredible idea to make me more fearless, he called it “head into it”. The idea was any time I saw a spider web I had to walk into it, it was terrifying in the beginning but after some time I got used to it. Since then, everytime I see spiders I am calm and sometimes I did not even pay attention to them.
