I went to New York this week and it is awesome! I’m seeing so many things that I never thought I was going to see! Things like ground zero, you know the place where the twin towers used to stand, and on the same tour, we also saw the Brooklyn Bridge, that thing is really old! We did also go to see the Statue of Liberty, did you know that it was made by the French? I sure didn’t… But well, we’re planning to stay here for two weeks and then go back, so we got lots of time to see all the monuments and etc.
The craziest thing about this trip is that it wasn’t even planned! Mom just signed my class up for this competition on the internet, it looked like it was fake, but it wasn’t! Can you believe that? Before I even got the news, we were sitting on a plane headed to the states, the whole class! My teacher went all crazy about this and started talking about all these boring places we were going to see, but I surely taught her a lesson or two... So we’re going to see cool, but also still important historic places.
