Hi Alex! Tuesday 16/9It was a long trip but, now Im here in New York. I arrived yesterday, and where well received by some friends I’m staying at. You might remember Cory & Jill? It’s them. They live in the most amazing, penthouse apartment near Manhattan. The live there with a friend, named Alice really sweet girl. I still got jetlag, and I’m tired all the time. Hope it’s just the first few days. To day we just, staying at the pool (the also got a pool!!) and I will sleep my jetlag away, until too night. Then we are going into downtown, and they want to show me some of New York at night. Later we are going, to the theatre, and watch “The phantom of the Opera”In New York, they got some of the finest theatre in the world. We have made a plan, for what they want to show me, until I’m taking the long trip back again.Tomorrow we are going, to see The “Statue of Liberty” I can’t wait to see her. Cory told me, that many tourists, gets disappointed when they see her. They imagine she was bigger. Now we see if that’s true. Thursday we are going shopping. Not in all those expensive stores like Gucci, Prada, Burberry and so … We are just going to look a bit, but I’m just going to do my shopping in those shops there’s a bit more cheap. After we might going to a little café, to get some lunch. Jill knows this little place, where all the famous people eat their lunch. It’s a bit expensive, but it could be fun to try it anyways. The weather is great, but Friday should it be rain, so we are staying inside, the most of the day. Jill and Cory have invited some of, their friends over for dinner. The want me, to learn them make some real Danish food. And then they will serve it, for their friends. I was thinking at those meatballs with potatoes, vegetables, and brown gravy. And then apple cake for dessert. Then it can’t be more Danish, hope they like it. Saturday we are going into the park, for a little picnic, and then at the Natural History museum. Can’t wait to see it, I read they got boons from a real dinosaur! Sunday we are going at, one of the most expensive restaurant in New York. Cory & Jill exist topay because it’s my last day in New York. Think I might buy then something, for being so friendly.Monday early I’m flying back to Denmark.I only been here for, one day and to be honest, then I could spend more than just that week, I’m here. There’s just so much to see. If we take a look, for how much there is to see, back home in Frederikshavn. All people are, just so nice here. They smile to you, at the street and some stops and talk to you, at a friendly way. There’s so much life all, the time. People walking at the street, yellow taxis, music, small talks, big hotels and buildings whit big screens, where they are advertise for something, like a new movie in the cinema, or something like that. Next time, I’m taking you with me you will love New York. Now I will enjoy, my holyday. Have fun, until we meet again.Your sister, Julie
