Hachiko is a very sad story but it is so good, so heartwarming and entertaining. When I saw it for the first time my tears ran down my cheek. But it warmed my heart that the dog kept waiting for him. The story Hachiko is a true story. The film is named Hachiko because the dog’s name is Hachiko. The movie was made I 2009 and the director is Lasse Hallström and is supposed to be a drama movie. Hachiko lived for 11 years and only knew his owner in 2 years. It happened in 1924 when his owner took him home and took care of him. The dog used to wait at him at the train station when he was getting back from work. When his owner died because of Cerebral hemorrhage at his work. he did not show up, but the dog kept waiting and he did that every day for 9 years it was so credible of the dog. He would not leave from the place he used to wait no matter what. It all happened in Tokyo and when the dog died, they made a statue of him and a bit after a movie in America. In the story they start off with the dog in Japan or China when it was only a puppy and had an old owner. When the owner was on their way on a trip the dog fell of the stand it was standing on. The cage broke and Hachiko (the dog) ran. It was at that train station he waited for his owner the owner found him and that is how they met. I would give it a 6 out of 6 stars. Not only because its good and heartwarming but, because the dog waited for him so long and it is based on a true story.
