Almost Famous is a comedy-drama movie about a young boy, named William Miller, who is a becoming a journalist and writer for the magazine Rolling Stone Magazine.

It was in San Diego, California 1973. The 15 years old William Miller who went to high school, was also writing stories for the magazine, Rolling Stone Magazine. William has sent some copies of his work to the rock journalist, Lester Bangs. Then William has got to do an evaluation of a concert from the band Black Sabbath. If he did it, Lester Bangs would give William 35$. Ben, William’s boss, gives him an assignment to write about the rock band from Troy, Michigan Stillwater. In about 3000 words. Successfully, he had to go with the band on their coming tour around America. The tour was called Almost Famous Tour ’73. Before he left on tour with the band, his mother Elaine, said to him that as long as he where gone, he had to call her twice a day. William’s boss Ben, told him not to become friend with any rock stars. Before the tour, William met the band at one of their concerts, and afterwards he spoke to the guitarist Russell Hammond, who seemed to like William. At the start of the tour, the band saw William as an enemy, because he was a journalist. But later they let him in, to become their friend. A very big fan of the band, was also on tour with the band.
