“The Well of the World’s End” is a folk tale it got written down in 1890 by Joseph Jacobs, but the author is unknown.

“The well of the world’s end” is a folk tale. The length of the folk tale is just perfect, the length. gives the reader a perfect impression of what the folk tale is all about. So, what was that we just read, is it just the classic folk tale/fairy tale is about a girl who married a prince and so on? It is, but it is also so much more than just that. I believe there is a deeper meaning with this folk tale, as in a lot of other folk tales and fairy tales. I have chosen to believe that the story about this girl is no different, the message in this folk tale is hidden so you have to read in between the lines, I would say the message of this folk tale is that our main character (the girl) is going through a personal development throughout the story. She goes from being a child to be an adult, she is growing up as we get deeper into the story.

Now let’s start digging into this folk tale, I found it quite interesting to read because I got this picture in my head throughout the whole story, I made an image in my head of the girl and the other characters.
