#Metoo is a movement that went viral in 2017. It was created to spread awareness about sexual abuse and from then on has spread like wildfire. Women from all over the world have told their stories through #MeToo and in doing so inspires more people to do the same. Can men help? and does society promote sexual harassment? In order for the world to further advance we need both men and women to participate. It takes a man and a woman to reproduce and continue the evolution of humanity. But throughout history men has always dominated over the women even though they are both equally as important. Even though, in recent times there has been huge improvements being made for gender equality. Women are still afraid to speak up to men. It especially happens in a work environment. If a superior sexual abuses a women, she would likely not say anything, because it’s hard to share a traumatizing event for the whole world to see, leaving behind a social stigma and she would likely also lose her job.
