Hi Josh! It’s me, [[NAVN A] A] the Dane from the youth hostel in Dublin. I remember telling you that I one day would come to the USA, and that day is quite near. I have been saving a lot of money since I was young, and I recently collected enough for a vacation to basically any country. The choice was between Canada and America, and I ended up choosing America, so I hope to see you there!
That’s also why I’m sending you this mail in the first place; I’m coming to California one month from now, and I’ll be there for two entire weeks! I have always dreamt of visiting The States and especially California. You told me all about your life on the west coast last summer, and I couldn’t help but dream about a vacation there. As you might know, Denmark is kind of grey, bland, and somewhat boring. There aren’t a lot of things to do when it is cold outside (which is quite often, actually) But San Francisco has everything I’m looking for: Perfect surfing opportunities, incredible weather, and an awesome friend to accompany me
Those are the primary reasons why I want to visit San Francisco. Of course, I’m also hoping to develop as a person and looking forward to experiencing the land of opportunity firsthand. I’m subscribed to a lot of people who live in California on YouTube, and it looks like the perfect vacation for me, especially since we’ve just entered the most boring season in Denmark. I’m also looking forward to meeting lots of new people, which is where my English skills finally could come in handy
