Dear [NAVN B] I hope you and your family are doing well. It has been almost five years since we met, that’s insane. First off, I’m very excited hear from you again. I have been thinking a lot about you and your interest for Irish music. You are the first one I have met in a long time who has been willing to learn about something like that. How is it going with your education? Are you still as interested in cooking? When we met each other for the first time, I remember that you didn’t talk about anything else than becoming a chef. I must admit that it could be quite cool to have a friend, who works at famous restaurant and make a lot of money out of that.
Personally, cooking is not my favorite thing to do, but I like to challenge myself so the other day I baked a cake. It did not end well, and that was for sure the last time I baked a cake. I actually baked it with the rest of the students in my class at a “teams” meeting, because as you might know, the whole country is in quarantine because of the covid-19 situation. Are there any strict restrictions in San Francisco? Almost no one in my country is allowed to go to school and only grocery stores are open, because it’s important to limit the rates of sick people. Enough about that. I’m actually planning a trip to San Francisco next spring if covid-19 allows it. It’s a long and expensive trip, but ever since you told me about the life over there I have been wanting to try and visit you so bad. That’s actually also the reason why I didn’t go to the youth hostel this year. I have been working a lot and saving op money for the trip. I have thought a lot about what I would like to experience when I arrive over there, and I have a lot of plans.
