World of Warcraft: et fascinerende computerspil

The computer game that fascinates me is the World of Warcraft, it originally started just as a regular computer game called Warcraft and later the made sequels of it those there were 3 of, well without counting the expansion packs those there were also 3 of. 10 years after Blizzard made the World of Warcraft in the beginning there were not so many playing as there is today, now it is the world’s biggest MMORPG there are over 7 Mio. People that log on to it on a daily basic. The game takes place in the world of Azeroth that is divided into four continents actually four in the soon to be released expansion pack Wrath of the Lich King, the players decide what fraction to join it is either the alliance or the horde, and then the game begins the horde starts on the continent Calimdor unless you choose to be an undead the you start in the upper region of the eastern kingdoms, the alliance starts in the lower region of the Eastern Kingdoms. You will start with a level one character and then the goal is to get your character to level 70, or 80 in the new expansion. But it isn’t like you can just go around and do what you want to there are rules in the World, for one thing you can’t just go around and say asshole to every single player you meet that will be censored if you say anything like that, but that can be a little problem sometimes like when you are chatting with a Danish player you can’t say slut because that can be taken the wrong way. The reason that World of Warcraft fascinates me is that it is a game that I have played for a very long time and it is one of the most played online games in the modern age, and it has an amazing game play. The game itself is all about meeting virtual people and play with them, that is why that in the last expansion they made some raids that are for more than 50 players at one time, well the more advanced are there are others that are for only 10 players at a time, or you can just go around and finish quest yourself or with others that is completely up to you. The time I use on World of Warcraft is very different from time to time now that I am on efterskole I can’t play it as much as I used to, but when I can play it I don’t spend more than 3,5 hours. I am not so sure about how popular it is among the students in this school, but back at my old school it was quite popular among the boys, almost every boy in my old class played it though most of them gave it up after a few weeks because it was too hard for them to understand, what it was all about and what the rules were, but most of them gave it up because they did not understand most of the quest text most of the boys weren’t that good at English.
