“Hi my name is Maya, and am going to be your teen guide here in London.”
I remember those exact words, because they meant that the journey was getting started. I was so excited to see London. It was my first time, and it was absolutely beautiful.
I really wished I had stayed a little longer, but 4 days had to do. The first and last day we met at the bus station, and we took the red bus to London eye.
I wanted to sit on the top of the bus so bad, but unfortunately there were no seats left.
After a 15-minute drive or so and a little walk we were standing beside the famous London eye. And Maya began talking about how they started building the London eye in 1998 and how tall it is and let me tell you it's tall. We were standing in the line for a good hour and a half, but it was worth it in the end. Because when we got to the highest point of the London eye, it was just one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen, I don't even know how to describe it. I was just above everything, and I could see so many buildings, bridges and Big Ben. It was so pretty, I knew at that moment that this was not the last time I would visit London. I was buried in my thoughts, that I didn’t realise that we were on the ground again. We walked on a very long bridge, and at the end of the bridge was big ben. We were standing there for about 20 minutes, but we decided to walk back and get something to eat. We found this diner, and I got some french fries, they were so good.
