I have chosen to write about Martin Luther King because he is one of the most respected men in the world. I think that the way he led America and the world is one of the best ways you can lead people. But how could he lead and inspire the whole world and what inspired him to do it?

Martin Luther King was born as the second sibling of 10 in his grandparents’ house January 15. 1929 in Atlanta, Georgia. Already at a very young age he noticed that something was wrong in the country. He was raised in a happy home, with his siblings: Christine and Alfred Daniel Williams King. His mother and father were called Martin Luther King and Alberta Williams King. A fun fact is that Martin originally was named after his father who was called: Michael when he was born. But both changed their names to Martin when King was very little. Actually they did this to honor the German priest: Martin Luther.
When Martin was a kid he had piano lessons with his mom and the rest of his siblings. Another thing he enjoyed was playing sports as soccer and baseball. As he got older he also started with understanding the terms of living as a black. If a black family wanted to go to the cinema they were not allowed to sit the front, if they were in a restaurant there were different sections for black and white. The law that separated black and white people were called: Jim crow laws. Most of Kings life he had a depression and already in the age of 12 he tried to kill himself by jumping out of a window after his Grandmothers death, but luckily he survived.
