Welcome fellow classmates! I am thrilled to share some of my most exciting adventures my classmates and I recently had in bonnie Scotland.
Our journey began with a visit to the renowned National Museum of Scotland in Edinburgh. As we wandered through the halls of the museum, we were transported through time. We encountered ancient artifacts and interactive exhibits, which really brought Scotland's history to life. From the awe-inspiring T-rex skeleton to the craftsmanship of medieval weapons, we were like sponges soaking up every bit of culture Scotland had to offer. Exploring the museum was a lot like being on a scavenger hunt, I was half expecting to bump into a caveman in the corridors.
Of course, no trip to Scotland would be complete without seeing the staggering Stirling Castle. Within the castle walls we saw into centuries of history. We learnt about how legends were made, royalty crowned, and battles fought. Overall, it was a great adventure, though it did make us feel a bit like amateur detectives - we must have spent half the time trying to solve the mystery of where the toilets were hidden!
Sure enough, we didn’t only see the bustling cities. We also ventured to the quaint countryside, where green valleys and mountains awaited. We even had the opportunity to visit a school there. Visiting the local schools was a bit like a cultural exchange program, but with more bagpipes and fewer textbooks.
