Waiting for spring The short story” Waiting for spring” written by Tamara Jones in 2015 takes place in a park, last in January. The short story is about two main characters named Albert and William. They are alcoholics and lives on the street. They are sitting on a bench in the park and looking around. Albert leaves the bench and goes to the bridge, where the other homeless are. Williams stays on the bench; he has a bad disease. The day after Albert goes back to William, and William tells Albert that he has Emphysema, which is a lunge disease.
