We all need to do better! but how?
Dear delegates, students, and fellow global citizens. I am very grateful to be here today. Climate changes is a topic I’m very invested and interested in, therefor it’s an honor to speak to you all today.
Our world is very evolving, and it definitely has changed a lot. We use our intelligence and the artificial intelligence, to improve as much as we can. It’s smart. The improvements of our economics give people way better opportunities in forms of transportation, entertainment, food and studying. But we now have started to realize, that there might be some downsides to humans taking advantages of resources in such big amounts.
In the last decade the topic climate change has gotten a lot of attention. The reason behind this, is that we now are starting to realize the huge impact we’re making to the climate, explained by the massive amounts of fossil fuels we burn of. The process of burning the fossil fuels to produce energy, put a lot of gas such as carbon dioxide in our atmosphere. This makes a greenhouse effect and constantly heats up the planet. This resolves in a lot of different problems such as floods, more extreme weather and we also use so much energy, that we at some point have used up all of the fossil fuels, we use to make energy. This is why we need to start taking more advantage of green energy. I live in the country Denmark. Denmark is a country of which is great at taking advantage of the weather. There is a lot of wind, so we use a lot of windmills. We use no natural resources or produce any gasses of which hurt the planet.
