Dear listeners, dear friends from all over Europe, On Behalf of my class I want to thank for this opportunity to talk to you. I have chosen to talk about climate change.
Climate change is happening now: Temperatures are rising, rainfall patterns are shifting, ice is melting, and the global mean sea level is rising. We expect that these changes will continue, and that extreme weather events resulting in hazards such as floods and droughts will become more frequent and intense. Impacts and weakness on nature. This Climate change has to stop. If the ice melts, the cities will be flooded, more than half of New York will be under water, and also many other cities will be under water.
What can we do? We can stop making nuclear power stations, making wind parks, drive in El-cars, or take public transport, we can turn off the lights when we leave the room, turn down the length of our baths. There are so many things we can do. Even small thinks helps.
Young people can do a lot for the Climate Change! We can go or cycling to school or take public transportation. We can do all the adults also can, turn off the lights, shorter showers, do battle anger against nuclear power stations, that we need to save, less food waste, recycling things for example clothes. All people in the world can help. Nobody shall think they not can help, because ALL CAN HELP.
