When I play violent video games in my room, my dad always says I should stop playing those types of games, and I always ask him why. And why, is a pretty good question. Violent games are an issue for many people, and they're always saying it has a bad influence on young people. Some agues could be “there to violent and will change their view of the world” or “they will grow up and think it’s normal to shoot people or steal a car”. On one hand yes it can change the view of the world for very young people. on the other hand, people over 13 years should know it’s a video game and it wouldn’t change their view on anything. Some think the games are too realistic for kids, others claim that violent games have a good influence on kids, those people often say that kids are learning the world better at a younger age than without the games. Some disagree with the fact that kids are learning everything about the world. there are many pros and cons to violent video games. Pros could be that kids learn to concentrate on one thing at a younger age than many other kids just 20 years ago, another could be that the games may boost children’s learning, health, and social skills. Cons could be something like the games can desensitize youths by numbing them emotionally, causing nightmares and sleep problems, impairing school performance, and leading to aggressive behavior and bullying. Another bad thing with the games is the fact that in many of the games like GTA, the main character often says swearwords like fuck or shut up, those words have a bad influence on kids, the games also lead to argument with parents and other peoples like friends and family.
