I chose this topic because it means a lot to me. After all, I know someone who has a circus and it’s very interesting. I think it’s very important that animals have a good life even if they live in a circus.

Mistreatment

There are many different forms of animals in the circus, e.g., Elephants, horses, big cats, and many others. But the problem Is that they are not being treated well, and that is not okay because animals also have feelings that we wouldn’t like if it was us.

Confinement

In a circus’ are elephants and big cats sat in confinement, and that is not okay because they need to be able to move, and not just investigate a wall or bars. We have seen too many times that animals are in confinement all day long, and only come out when they must perform.

Numerous undercover investigations into animal circuses show that elephants continuously are being beaten during training sessions with bullhooks or other sharp instruments. To be trained for circus tricks, elephants are torn from their mothers’ sides at an early age and inflicted with pain.
