For a long time, my class and I have been planning on visiting Scotland. We chose to visit Edinburgh, which is the capital of Scotland. On our way to the place we were staying at, we saw a man on the sidewalk. He was wearing a kilt, and playing the bagpipe. I’ll admit, it was quite good! We tipped him some money.
We walked towards the pedestrian street. It was very vintage. My class and I entered ‘The Elephant House Café’. It’s famous for being the café, where J.K Rowling wrote her first two ‘Harry Potter’ books. The café was filled with people. A lot of them were doing their own work. Many were drinking whiskey, and alcohol. It was super cozy though. We all drank different kinds of beverages, and we each got a bagel. I got myself some good old, British tea.
There’s a lot of nature. I can’t count on how many ponds we’ve walked past! We went hiking, up the mountains and stood by the cliffs. The view was just outstanding. I’ve come to find out, people in Scotland, love seafood. While being there, we’ve tried eating scallops, clams and so much more. It was fascinating to see their traditions. It’s unusual for us Danes. It was interesting, trying new stuff though.
