Scotland: There national dish is Haggis. Haggis contains minced sheep bowels. In the end it’s all boiled in a sheep stomach. In Scotland can you also get deep fried Marsbar.

William Wallace was a Scotties national hero. He was fighting against England in the Scotties independence wars. The movie “Braveheart” is about William Wallace, and the Scotties independence wars.

The Bagpipe is the national instrument of Scotland. The first bagpipe was made of wood, to the pipes, and sheep stomach, for the bag.

Glasgow: Glasgow is the biggest city in Scotland. There are nearly 600.000 inhabitants in Glasgow.

Edinburgh: Edinburgh is the capital city of Scotland. It has been the capital of Scotland since 1437. It has over 450.000 inhabitants. Edinburgh biggest tourist attraction is the Edinburgh Festival. The most famous events are the Edinburgh Fringe, the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, and the Edinburgh International Film Festival. It starts from early August and ends 4 weeks later. Every year there almost comes 450.000 visitors.

Loch Ness: Loch Ness is 37 km. long and about 2.5 km wide. It is up to 300 meters deep. The loch Ness monster was photograph for the first time in 1934. The photograph was taken by an English surgeon on his holyday trip.
