My name is [NAVN G] and I live near Odense. I live on a farm, with my mom [NAVN E], my brother [NAVN H], my stepbrother [NAVN A] and my stepfather [NAVN I]. My mom is working with old people and my stepfather is working with the nature. I have two horses, one dog and four cats. The horses are called Bella and Mary and my dog is called Karla. My father [NAVN B] lives in Copenhagen in an apartment, with my little sister [NAVN C]. My father is a family therapist. My older sister [NAVN D] also lives in Copenhagen, but in her own apartment and my older brother [NAVN F] lives in Aarhus with his girlfriend. In my spare time I like to ride Icelandic horses. I love to work with their gaits because I find that challenging and fun. I had my own horse once, but she had an accident, so I couldn’t ride her anymore. Her name was Irpa and I miss her very much. Last year I went to another boarding school where I also rode Icelandic horses. There I rode on Huxi and Mýsla. When I started it was very hard for me to meet new people and I had a difficult start, but this year is much easier. I have learned so much from Thorsgaard that I can use now. The first day on HNIE, was still difficult. I think it’s because I missed my friends on Thorsgaard so much, but it is better now. I still think its difficult to meet new people but after the first weeks it’s so much easier. I’m very happy for my roomies, and I’m thankful that we always have each other. My advice to meet new people is, be yourself from the beginning, because its impossible to act a personality for a whole year. Everyone will get very close friends on a boarding school because you live together and going throw ups and downs during the year. I don’t think people is prepared on how hard it is to start. When you ask someone how a year on boarding school was, almost everyone will say, it’s the best year of my life. And because of that you have an idea about that is only happy days, but it will be hard some days. I think its easy to talk to new people, but I think its hard to make a real friendship, because it takes time. Some people think its difficult to meet new people, because the only thing they want is to fit in. The most important for people is that other people like you, so when you meet new people, you try to be the best version of yourself. And when you know people better you can begin to relax more in their company.
