The last couple of days have been intense. I haven’t had time to hear my own breathing. Everything has been about learning sailing skills. I heard that someone is getting to sail the boat at night - and I don’t think that is going to be a mere coincident. What can I say…? I haven’t acted disciplined. I haven’t exerted any teamwork. I know this is going to have consequences.
Every morning, some enormous and extremely high-pitched bell rings at around 5 am. There is no time for snoozing. You must get up and get dressed as fast as you can. I don’t have many difficulties with getting up in the morning. I like getting up early and start the day. The other attendants they are always rushing out of bed to be the first ones standing in queue for the restroom. They are reasonably impatient, and they get frustrated and wait for about 6 minutes. Then they give up in disappointment. Good tip: don’t rush yourself to the toilet - it is a waste of time. My job is to clean those toilets. Sometimes I spot a savage rat running across the deck, and I lose my appetite for 5 days straight.
