Illuminati: historie og konspirationsteori

The Illuminati is a secret organization founded by Adam Weishaupt in 1776. The purpose of the organization was to have a society without a king. Adam founded the organization because the Jesuit order was taking over his university. The ‘’Jesuit Order’’ was an organization founded in the 1600´s with the purpose of spreading Christianity around the world. The organization was first only 9 people but soon grew to around 2,500 people, they tried to spread and expand even further, they tried in big areas to expand, from Italy to Denmark and Warsaw to Paris. In the beginning, there were three ranks: Novice, Minerval, and Illuminated Minerval. The word Minerval originates from the roman goddess Minerva, Minerva was the goddess of war and wisdom. But as the organizations grew, more ranks were introduced Illuminatus minor, Illuminatus dirigens, and then the highest rank “king”. Adam Weishaupt named himself king even though he didn’t want there to be a king in his society. But the bigger the organization grew the more he became delusional about him being the king. In 1785 the organization was forced to close by the government because Adam Weishaupt couldn’t see the danger, he was putting himself in, both mentally and physically.
