Dear Sofia

I am looking forward to visiting you in USA, about two days. It will be a long trip, but I am really looking forward to seeing the beautiful Christmas decorations, and the beautiful buildings in the USA. In Denmark, we decorate a lot at home, but it is also decorated a lot in the streets, and in the center. It is nice to see all the beautiful, and colorful lights and hear all the cozy Christmas music that is played around the streets

In my family, we have a tradition that on Christmas Eve, we all give each other presents. I'm really looking forward to seeing what kind of food you eat in the USA, because I think it's a little different than in Denmark. Here in Denmark, we eat roast pork, brown sauce, and it is one of my favorite dishes. For dessert we are eating rice pudding with cherry sauce. We also dance around the Christmas tree and that's one of the most important things because it's fun to walk around the Christmas tree and sing songs with your family. On December 20, it is a tradition that me and my family go out and hew a Christmas tree in the woods, and drink hot cocoa. It's nice because we've been doing it every year, since I was born.
