My family and I have as you know moved to USA in the last weekend and I want to tell you about my first week at school. So, the first thing that is different and surprisingly novel in this school compared to the old, is the fact that we in our timetable have one hour “clubs” from Monday to Thursday. We are divided into various groups that is operating with different stuff and I have made a lot of new friends doing the time in clubs. Another thing that was written on the timetable last week was “test auditorium”, “Public speaking”, “Design Technology workshop”, Psychology and drama. All of this is nicely fresh compared to what I used to do at school. However, everything is not just harmony and sugary sweet. The subjects are generally on a higher level than I am used to, and the teachers is also quite strict and sometimes I feel like they are snapping at me, but that is I guess just essential for me getting a good future. The other pupils at this school knows that the teachers can be unfair and that brings me to an amusing episode that occurred Tuesday. The pupils in my class are not stupid and they have the great ability to work together, so they arranged to make a deal with the teachers. If everybody came to test auditorium and did good, we could take a day off in the upcoming week and that is what happened! We have already decided that we will go out and play football on that day.
