My trip to south Africa

Hello everybody!

My family and those who travel to South Africa in the winter times. We have chosen to start with a visit in Johannesburg. To experience something new, and to experience a different culture. And I'm excited to share some highlights with you.

The 14th of December

Our flight was long, and my sisters and you had never tried to fly for so long. We were in South Africa around 10.15 am and now we were ready to see Johannesburg.

The day started with a visit to the Apartheid Museum, where I delved into the complex history of South Africa's struggle against racial segregation. The exhibits provided a thought-provoking perspective on the country's journey towards democracy, reminding me of the resilience and strength of the people.

In the afternoon, we explored Constitution Hill, a site that houses the country's constitutional court and stands as a symbol of justice and human rights. Adri, a South African with a warm smile, had spent years working at Constitution Hill. And what he said, I will never forget. He spoke passionately about the transformative journey the country had undergone, from the darkest days of apartheid to the establishment of a constitutional court that symbolizes hope and change.
