My first visit in South Africa, was a museum called “The Apartheid Museum” It was an amazing experience, because they have a sculpture, made of Nelson Mandela. Because they want to represent the time, when black people were treated unequally, as white people.
Table top mountain cableway
I also visited, Table Top Mountain cableway, in Cape Town. It was very scary, to be 363 above sea level, because it was built in 1870. Before I got in the cable car, the staff told us not to raise our hands out of the windows, and throw anything out. because they want to keep nature clean, and not hurting our self in any way. As you already know I am afraid of heights, so I told the tour guide, that I may get a little nauseous. He just gave me a sick bag, if I should throw up. As we were on our way up to the top, the cable car started to shake, but nothing happed. I got a little nauseous, but It was quickly over. It was an amazing trip, because the view from that height was very beautiful.
School visit in cape town
My favorite visit was at a school, in Cape Town. I call the principal of the school to ask if I could visit his school, and be in a class for a day. He said I could come anytime. The day afte r I went to the school. I came into the class at 10am, they had math. It was very different to be in a class in Africa than in England. There were 40 kids in the same classroom, there was holes in the walls, and there was no glass in the windows. It was just a hole in the wall. The teacher had no education. But the kids were happy because they had a chance, to get an education, and there is a lot of other kids in Africa, who aren’t getting the chance, of going to school.
