Very fast and quick then Malala is a girl that has been fighting for the Pakistani woman and girls right to an education.
Malala was born in Mingora, Pakistan on July 12, 1997. The whole family was not very welcoming since Malala is a girl and not a boy, but Malala’s father Ziauddin Yousafzai was determined to give Malala a opportunity every boy would have.
Malala’s Father was a teacher and ran a all-girls’ school in Their village. Malala loved school but everything changed in 2008 when Taliban took control of her town swat valley.
Taliban banned many things such as - owning a Television, playing music, and even said girls could no longer go to school, Malala was only 11 years old not knowing if she will see her classmates ever again.
In 2012 Malala spoke out publicly on behalf of girls and their right to learn made Malala a target.
The Nobel prize:
In December 2014 Malala became the first Pakistan and youngest person to ever receive the Nobels peace prize. And if you wonder Malala was only 17 years old.
Malala made a thank you speech.
‘’ I had two options one was to remain silent and wait to be killed and the second was to speak up and then be killed. I chose the second one I decided to speak up.’’
