A peaceful hobbit who is content to live in a distant corner of Middle-earth, is given a challenge: he must destroy the power ring to prevent the forces of evil in getting hold of it. It is Frodo’s task in J.R.R. Tolkien’s famous novel The lord of the ring. When he inherits the ring, he stands suddenly with the world’s destiny in his hands. The ring is forged by The Dark Lord Sauron and contains creepy forces. Frodo is led by the wise wizard Gandalf on a dangerous journey to the country Mordor to destroy the ring.
Hobbits are small, but valiant creatures, and Frodo accompanied by his three friends on the journey of rugged mountains, rushing rivers and mysterious worlds and all the time they are persecuted by Sauron’s Black Riders.
After four years of work can Tolkien’s fantastic tales finally be seen in theaters. Tolkien’s trilogy have been quickened by the film director Peter Jackson, who has recreated the three books incredible world of adventure, and it’s his home country of NZ landscapes that form the background for the story. We have worked closely with sets and costumes, and they have kept a large part of Tolkien’s dialogue.
