Answer: Supermarkets are planning to give a better treatment to people who spend lot of money. The supermarket does that because they want to give a sort of reward to the most buying costumers, which is mostly the upper and middleclass families. It means that the good financial standing peoples gets a better service no matter what, and some special prices only for the ” Gold card holders”. This reward only exists because the supermarkets can make more money on wealthy people
