New York City: Seværdigheder og bydele

I would like to tell about New York City. In New York City there are five boroughs, Bronx, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Queens and State of Island. I would like to tell more about Manhattan, because I have been there. I would like to tell you as you are a tourist in New York.

Down Town

The City has many territories and the sights, they are well known all over the world. In the City there lives 8 mio. people I New York City, many tourists are taking a little free ferry so they can see the Statue of Liberty from the waterside. Wall Street is still USA’s financial-centre. On Wall Street is New York Stock Exchange, the biggest exchange for bonds and shares. It has bin closed after 9/11 about a week.

Ground Zero is the most visited place in New York City, it is the place where 50.000 people had there place of work until 9/11 2001. The Twin Towers had 110 floors, and was 420 m. tall. The Twin Towers was the heights skyscrapers in the city. They overthrow after a terror attack where two planes was crashing into the Towers, 2823 people was killed, after the terror attack there has been a debate what the place should been used for. Many people has wish for a memorial where there can remember their family or friends. But there are plans to build a 541m. tall Freedom Tower, where the Twin Towers was.
