I would like to tell you something about culture and entertainment in London and little facts about London.

Culture and entertainment:

London is a 24-hour town, so it can be experienced at any time of day or night. There is club culture, cafe culture, music culture, street culture and every other kind of happening as the international "culture-vulture."

In the area you will find about 50 theaters, 20 cinemas and numerous restaurants and nightclubs for every taste.

Covent Garden has a lively environment with its various street entertainment, which often continues to far out at night.

There is for example one of the most well-known are the Notting Hill Carnival, which features Caribbean music and culture, and the London Mela, where southern Asian – mainly Indian and Pakistani – culture is in focus. The Notting Hill Carnival day is a very important cultural event for those who have roots in the Caribbean. It’s held in an open area, there’s a lot of space, and there are things for the kids, such as the fairground and candy floss. There are many different homely arrangements. And it will usually arranged in August, because of the fluctuation of the weather in the area.
