The film is about Matt Buckner, a journalism student from the United States. When he wrongly expelled from school, he travels to London to visit his sister. But when she and her boyfriend went to town, Matt is forced to take the sisters boyfriends brother, Pete to match. But what awaited him there was not quite what he expected when he said yes. He finds out that Pete is the leader of a hooligan group which supports West Ham United. But now Matt is crazy about the football life, and he become a more and more important member of the group. But just as it goes best for Matt, discovers his football friends that he is a journalist students. And journalists, is exactly what they hate most, right after the other clubs and their fans. They come to Pete, and show him what they've seen. Together they take down after Matt, and ask for an explanation. He explains their way out of problems, but one of the group's members will not stand for it, and called Milwalls hooligans. And then it all falls down for Matt.
Matt is a hard working young boy from the States. He’s dad is a very powerful man from a famous newspaper. He didn’t used lot of time on his to kids. Matt has I all his life lived under pres from his dad. He wants Matt to get a great education in the journalist branch. But Matt never wanted to be a journalist. He had always bin pushed of his father. But when he got to London he learnt a lot about living.
