"Green Street Hooligans" is a drama film that explores the world of football hooliganism in the United Kingdom and tells the story of a young man named Matt Buckner, who is expelled from Harvard University after being accused of possession of drugs.

Matt moves to London to live with his sister and her husband, and he enters the world of football, which is a world of violence and hooliganism. He befriends the violent leader of the Green Street Elite team, Pete Dunham, who lives in East London.

Through his membership in the Green Street Elite, Matt discovers the world of violence and hooliganism in English football and learns that hooliganism is not just random acts, but rather rituals among team members that they call challenges. They sing songs that carry a hint of violence and form strong relationships with each other

As time passes, Matt becomes a violent young man, trying to prove himself to the team members and to the society that despises him. He engages in risky battles, risking his life, and witnesses unlawful acts, riots that sometimes result in the killing of police officers.

After a while, Matt realizes that hooliganism is not the solution and stops participating in violent and hooligan acts. He changes his personality and understands that violence is not the solution in anyone's life. He realizes that fighting fire with fire is not the answer, and he finds peace by leaving the world of hooliganism and finding other solutions for life. He decides to stop participating in violent acts to save himself and his life.
