How are you Amy? I hope you are as fine as I am. I have heard that you will be joining my school and I am looking forward to meet you. Brændgårdskolen is situated in Herning, which is a city in Jutland. There are about 370 students in Brændgårdskolen, so it is not a big school. In 2004 it was nominated for the best school in Denmark because of the cultural diversity of the school. Everyone at tenting this school have fun and a good time. The teachers understand and they are good at teaching.
Everyday, except Saturday and Sunday, we normally start lessons at 8.15 and end by 13.45. We have 9 different subjects, which are history, German, mathematics, English, Danish, religion, science, athletics, geography and biology.
We have a tradition that all students and teachers have to meet 2-3 times a month in the big hall. There we sing and have fun. During the year we have 3-5 big projects. I don’t think that it is assembling too much. We usually have one week to make the project and after that we have to give an oral presentation.
In our school we have a lot of rules:
We must not play ball in the classroom or other places in side the school.
