Friendship, what is that? Is it someone you have fun with? Is it someone you have secrets with? Is a friend a person, who always make you smile? Is a friend someone who comforts you, when you are sad? Is it someone who helps you, when you have problems? Why is it important to have a friend?

I mean a friendship is, when you have a friend, who always is there for you. A friend is someone you have fun with, and somebody who can make you laugh. Friendship for me is, when I have a friend, which I can trust. A good friend is someone, who can keep a secret. For example if I tell a secret maybe about another person, I want my friend to keep that secret, and not go telling it to the other person. A real friend is one who is still there, when the others have disappeared. A friend is also someone who knows things about you. Friendship is when you can be who you are, and not pretend to be another. A friend is a person who accepts you for who you are. I think it is important to have a friend, because you need to talk with people. If you don’t have someone to talk with, you get lonely, sad and reserved. Of course you can always talk with your family, but you also need to meet new people. When you go in school, it is very important to have a friend, so you’re not alone. Often if you don’t have a friend you get bullied, and that is of course not fun for anyone. It is also important to have friends, so you can go to parties, because you don’t want to go alone. Often when you don’t have someone to go to a party with you just stay home, and then you will hear about the party in school next day. Then you hear about how fun the other had, and then you get more sad and lonely. It is also important to have a friend, when you are sad, so the person can comfort you. Maybe your grandmother just had died, and you are very sad, because she meant a lot to you. Then it is good to have a friend to talk with. Unfortunately many people in the world don’t have a friend, and they probably get bullied a lot. I think that is sad, because I know how it feels to be left outside, and it is defiantly not fun.
