There is segregation all over the world. In 1948 it became official. The apartheid was worst in South Africa. The black people were forced to have their pass wherever they went, and if they don’t have it with them, they take them to jail. They was be-en taking from their family, everything they have. There were over 3 million of the black, who was thrown out of their homes. Many blacks was tortured and killed. They get killed without a reason. Or the reason, well be that, the white people mean they are more worth than the black ones. They used the black people like slaves.
They couldn’t be able to be in the same room or something like that. Nelson Mandala is a freedom fighter and he wanted to have equal rights. He wrote freedom carter white some other people. He was been in jail for 27 years, and hasn’t touched his family for 27 years; only talked for 5-10 minute half a year.
They life like slaves in the prisons and if the outside-world would find that out, then it couldn’t be good, and then the outside-world would be very angry.
Apartheid means that the black and whites should not be together, such as the bus they sit down behind the black and the white people sitting at the front. The white mean that they were more worth than the blacks. But the black people don’t mean that. They just wanted equal rights between the white and black.
