Some boys are going to a show, which is in town, it is with a famous knife thrower, referred as the master. He is a different, he wants to surprise the audience he wants to go beyond the people’s bounds. The boys are sitting at the front row. A woman dressed in black is his assistant, and she is the first one to assist him in his performance. He throws the knife and it hits the wall just next to the neck and leaves a small streak of blood. Then they want to have some volunteers. After a couple of minutes, few raises theirs hands, a quiet girl Susan Parker is chosen by the assistant. She also have to stand with her back against the wood-wall but with her one arm raised to on a level with her shoulder holding the assistant in the hand. The master throws his knife and she also get the blood streak at her forearm. The master wants to give a deeper mark, and needs a new volunteer. A stranger volunteer and she also stand with her back against the wall. The curtains are drawn and the show ends. The boys go home, still in not knowing weather the rumours are truth.
