First of all I’m pleased to hear, that you’ve picked our school for the next term. Let me introduce myself, my name is [NAVN A] and I’m 16 years old and as you know, I go to a school called Odense Friskole so we’re going to be classmates together, in the nearby future.

The school has about 500 pupils in overall, and the students range from the nursery class to 10th grade. The timetable is very simple and easy to learn, I’m sure that you’ll get a hang of it quick. I know that you have a very long school day back in England, but I can tell you that the school days, are not going to be as long here in Denmark, so don’t be nervous about that.
The normal school days start at 8 o’clock. The subjects in school are probably the same as you have back in England. There is Math, Danish which in your case is English, then there’s Biography, History, geography, Christianity, social studies, physics and chemistry which are combined into one subject and lastly there’s a second pick of language like German or French, all according to what you have in mind to pick. You can also choose to not have any of the languages, if you don’t want it.
