Velkomstbrev til ny elev på Glamsbjergskolen

I heard from our principal that you will come to our school next month.

The school’s name is Glamsbjergskolen. The school is not very big but not very small either, about 450 people. Glamsbjerg is a small town and the school is in the centre.

In the school is many different parts, for the older peoples 8-9 class then we have a middle part for 4-7 class and there is the last part for 0-3 class. You will be with 8-9 class in the cellar.

You must be in the school at 8.30 every morning. On Mondays and Wednesdays you are finished at 14.55, on Tuesdays and Fridays you are finished at 13.15 and on Thursdays you are finished at 14.10.

We have many different subjects like Danish, English, Math, Sports, Geography, German, Physics and Chemistry, Social Studies, History, The class’s hour, Religion and Biology. You can also choose an optional subject such as Chess, Homework café, Geography and Travel, Wood work, Needle work and Home Economics.

Our school has many good facilities like two computer rooms, one gymnastics hall, a library, a canteen and many special class rooms. Outside there is a very very big grass plane to play ball on, a basketball court and an athletic track.
