Filmanalyse af 'Guilty by Suspicion'

David Merrill, played by Robert DeNiro, is a succesful moviedirector, who is really obsessed with his job. He is doing great and everything seems to work for him, until his past starts catching up with him. The House Un-American Activities Committee and the FBI are conducting a witch-hunt to find all Communists in the film industry. David once went to a couple of communist party meetings years earlier, but he was thrown out because he argued too much. Now he is suspected to be a communist because of that couple of meetings, even though it was years ago. He is beeing called into question by the House Committee on Un-American Activities and he has to answer all of their questions.
