1: Most arias in Australia are outback. Outback means that it is big arias out-of-the-way and sparsely populated. The outback is a little bit like a desert, but not as dry as a desert. You can also call the outback for the wildness. The outback is more than two-thirds of Australia but its population is less than 100.000. The nearest neighbour is perhaps a hundred kilometers away and the nearest city 1.500 kilometers away.
2: Some places in the outback is very dry, as a desert, other places it’s like a big overgrown garden with a lot of bushes, big trees and small plants. The roads in the outback are just some wheel track a car has made. As you can see in the picture, is the earth very red.
3: A lot of strange animals live in Australia’s outback. Some of them are kangaroos, koalas, platypus and echidnas. A kangaroo is a big jumping animal and it reminds me a bit of a rabbit. A Koala is a chubby animal with thick grey fur. A platypus is a little bit like a duckbill. And the echidna looks like a big hedgehog.
4: A roadtrain is a big long truck with a lot of coaches. It’s very popular in Australia and it’s one of the things that you have to see then you visit Australia.
