I agree with Nancy that it’s better to live in a big family than being an only child. An only child is very self-centred when they got all the attention focus on them. I knew a friend who was an only child and she was very dependent on her friends and wanted someone around her every time.
It’s different when you have brothers or sisters. The only thing you wish is a break from them.
Nancy, Ron and Florence tell that they use their brothers and sisters to give and get advice. They also use them just for talking. They’ll be there for them, listening if they need it. Florence is talking about being a middle child in her family. She uses her older brother to talk with. He had being in the same situation like her. He understands it better than her younger brother. It’s different to have a younger brother. They don’t understand you, and sometimes you think that you have to teach him.
Without thinking about it, we actually learn how it is to have a child how it is to take care of a child. Parents want their children to take care of each other.
Ron learns from his sisters. They fight a lot about money and going out. He learns not to act like them. His parents probably like him most because he doesn’t with them to much.
