In this topic I will talk about guns and violence in America. And I will try to find out why so many get killed, not only by guns but also by other weapons. We have seen a movie called Bowling for Columbine, so I will talk about that to. I think this is an exciting subject, because there is a lot of focus on violence and murders all the time.

When it comes to gun violence, the American society has a really big problem. Over ten thousand Americans get killed every year because of gun shooting. Compared to other countries like France and Canda

I think that one of the reasons is that you can by a gun when you are age 18, the states set the age requirement themselves so it isn’t the same in every states. But I think that many young people at 18, aren’t thinking or acting clear in violent situations, which may lead to using the gun. I know it isn’t just people at 18 who kill with guns, people at age 25, 30 and even 50 can do/does it. But just to take an example, the Columbine shooting, those two boys Eric and Dylan were even younger than 18, they were 16 and 17 years old. And many more of school shootings, have also just been boys at that age.
