My name is Nana and I am from a town called Aarhus in Denmark. I am 15 years old and going in 9. Class. In school we have about gun violence. I think it is a very exciting and a bit scary to work with. I also think my attitude to USA has changed a bit, because so many bad things about gun violence happened.
But first, my friends and I have talk a lot about gun violence and school shooting, and we think it is really too much, and it is horrible things that happening. Most of the student is innocent and I think it is so sad that they are victims. If I where parents I would be scared of the fears about sending my child to school, and do not know if the child is coming home, or die because a person get rid off. But it is lucky not as widespread in Europe. Therefore, I also believe that Europeans has more fear for guns, and much harder to understand that it is legal with guns in USA. Something I personally think is a problem, is that you can buy a gun, just if you have money. And that is a big problem I think. If e.g. a gang member got an enemy or a member from another gang. They can just go down the street and buy gun. And that is a problem. We have read the story “JoJo White“ in school. It’s a story about a young man who wants a better society, but he was killed before he has made a difference. And it was the society who killed him. In Denmark you will never be able to buy a gun legal. But the problem is that, in Denmark there is some gangs who fight with guns.
