The Black Eyed Peas: bandprofil og sanganalyse

I've chosen this group, because I really like their songs and their style. It's a mixture of rap and singing, and I can't really find any bad songs they've made.

The Black Eyed Peas is an American Hip-hop group from Los Angeles. They have existed since 1995, but their break-out album, Elephunk, was released in 2003. It was the group's first album to feature the vocals of Fergie and she became the replacement for the background singer Kim Hill, who left the band in 2000. Now, in 2009, the group consist of Will.I.Am, Apl.De.Ap, Taboo and Fergie. They have sold an estimated 27 million albums and singles worldwide.

From Elephunk came the single “Where is the love”. The song is a peace song. It's about what happens with the world, and with us. That there's terrorism and people are killing each other. It's a very real and deep song. It became Black Eyed Peas' first major hit, peaking at #8 on the U.S. Hot 100, but topping the charts practically everywhere else, including six weeks at #1 in the UK where it became the biggest-selling single of 2003.
