J.F.K was in 1960 elected to president of the United States America.
He had a wife, Jacqueline Kennedy and to small children.
Most of the American people liked him very much; because he believed that all people should have equal rights.
But in the meantime when he was president, the Vietnam War was current.
Kennedy didn’t want this war, and many did not agree with him.
The 22.september 1963 Kennedy was assassinated. He was shot in Dallas Texas while travelling in a motorcade with his wife, Jacqueline. When they drove in a turn, he was suddenly shot in the back of the head. He died shortly after.
2 days after, it was fast clear, which Kennedy’s murder was.
A man called Lee Harvey Oswald was said to be Kennedy’s murderer.
He got arrested, but very short time after; he was shot by a man called Jack Ruby. So the police lost their only suspect. Immediately the vice president Johnson was ready to take over Kennedy’s position.
