I mean I would like to live in USA but not by the “American way”, it’s totally different from what I know here in Denmark.
For instants, they don’t have public hospitals or schools! It’s like take care of yourself, because we sure won’t.
But there are, of course, good things about USA, there language is without doubt the most beautiful, cheap fast-food and you can get your driving license earlier than here.
I have some friends from USA, and from what they told me, they are like bubble-wrapped. One of them told that: When he was little he had to wear bike-helmets, when he was going out on the playground.
That is kind of overprotective and over-hyped. And that isn’t the only thing that’s over-hyped, some places they are also over-hyped about religion. He also told that: When he told his parents that he didn’t believe in god any longer, his mom started crying and his dad started yelling at him. He doesn’t get Christmas presents from his parents anymore.
When we talk he often get shocks when I tell about how I have to handle some things myself, like getting a job, call insurance when I have lost my phone, wash the dices etc.etc. etc.
